Summary of Consulting Services
Jeff has worked for over 20 years as a management consultant, specializing in marketing and business development services both within and outside the
dive industry. Services included writing marketing and business plans,
developing financial models and pro forma forecasts, conducting market
research, and researching market opportunities and competitive positions.
Past clients have included the American Red Cross, Gulton Industries,
Aquarius Research, VisionArt Interactive, JBS & Associates, Specialty
Coffee Association of America, California Bankruptcy Forum, Carbon
Company, and others.
In the dive industry, Jeff has provided services to a variety of
manufacturers, most recently focusing on rebreather manufacturers and
associated companies. His efforts have included equipment design,
equipment evaluation, developing training materials, reviewing training
videos, risk management and liability review, and producing marketing
materials.
Jeff has also performed services as an accident investigator and expert
witness, consulting on cases related to scuba fatalities and non-fatal
dive related incidents.
In addition to services for companies, Jeff continues to assist a variety
of not-for-profit entities, and trade organizations. He has been featured
as a speaker at the Scuba Show, the Northwest Dive and Travel Expo, DEMA,
Aquarium of the Pacific, and other programs.
Jeff also has provided support services on a variety of scientific
projects and governmental programs. Working for universities, private
research organizations, branches of U.S. government, and local government
organiztions, he has provided training, logistical support, faunal and
data collection services, and dive operation oversight. Past and current
clients include (in part): U.S. National Park Service, Florida State
University, Antioch College, Government of Mexico, Los Angeles County
Sheriff's Department, U.S. Army, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles,
International Cave Rescue and Recovery Team, and others.
